Hand forming is my process in working with silver. It most closely resembles the techniques and tools used by ancient artisans. Most of the hand tools I use are the exact same ones used, virtually unchanged, for hundreds of years! I saw it, form it, bend it, stretch it, anneal, solder and so on. I build each individual piece by hand.

It is important to me, as an artist, to accentuate the human aspect of my work. The metal  makes it a product of the earth, but my human hand makes it a language of art and expression.
